of Legal Specialization, Mr. Lieberman is a trial attorney with special
expertise in pre-bankruptcy planning and litigating complex bankruptcy
matters on behalf of creditors, debtors, and bankruptcy trustees. He counsels
businesses throughout the country on bankruptcy matters pending in California,
Delaware, Nevada, Texas, New York, Illinois, and Florida.
Mr. Lieberman's clients include real estate developers, high profile
entertainers, franchisees, commercial property owners, bankruptcy trustees,
physicians, attorneys, receivers, parties to state law assignment proceedings,
producers and production companies, songwriters, entrepreneurs, financial
professionals, real estate developers, assisted living facility operators,
investment banking firms, lending institutions, and businesses in the
United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Mr. Lieberman is often engaged to assist entertainment attorneys, business
managers, family law attorneys, transactional lawyers, and other litigators
for counsel on the bankruptcy-related issues confronting their clients.
He speaks and writes on the enforcement of judgments, what civil litigators
need to know about bankruptcy, provisional remedies in business litigation,
what can and cannot be accomplished in bankruptcy, as well as asset protection
planning matters.
Mr. Lieberman is member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Los Angeles
and California Bankruptcy Forums, the Financial Lawyers Conference, the
National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Managing Partners
Forum, and the Southern California Business Litigation Inn of Court.
A former Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association,
the recipient of the BHBA’s Board of Governors’ Award and
past member of boards of Public Counsel and the Beverly Hills Bar Association,
Mr. Lieberman is presently and officer and board member of the Beverly
Hills Bar Foundation. His experience, professional achievements, industry
recognition, and professional conduct have earned him the highest possible

Mr. Lieberman received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law and an
A.B. with High Honors from Brown University. Mr. Lieberman works in Spanish,
French, and Portuguese.
